8月6日のThursday Gatheringは世界6ヵ国（日・米・豪・蘭・波・西）10都市のVenture Caféが協力して、史上”はじめて”の取り組みとしてGlobal Thursday Gatheringを行います。
世界的な感染症（コロナウィルス）の拡がり、活発な市民運動など、世界は今グローバルスケールでそのあり方を問われる時代にあります。また、感染症の拡がりによるヒト・モノの移動が制限される状況の中、Venture Café Global Communityは今だからこそ人々、そして地域間を「繋げる」ミッションを果たすべきだと強く信じています。
その上で、8月6日のThursday Gatheringは世界6ヵ国（日・米・豪・蘭・波・西）10都市のVenture Caféが協力して、史上”はじめて”の取り組みとしてGlobal Thursday Gatheringを行います。当日は各地のリレー方式で18時間に渡って30以上のセッションを行う予定です。
Global Gathering全体のテーマは、”Better Normal（より良い正常）”。技術変化や気候変動・感染症への対応、活発化する市民運動など多様なトピックを通じて、単なる”New Normal（新しい正常）”ではなく、未来に向けた希望と共に”Better Normal”について議論を深めたいと考えています。

On Thursday August 6th, join 10 Venture Café locations for the first ever collective Global Thursday Gathering – The Happening! Featuring nearly 30 sessions over 18 hours, we will explore ideas and innovative actions around crafting a better future. (FREE to join)

How will innovators be inspired to action by a devastating global pandemic, the rapid effects of climate change, and a growing civil rights movement? From educational outcomes to equitable housing, corporate culture to climate action, racial equity to pandemic response – so many facets of the world we live in can and will be reimagined.
