Background of the Business Alliance
As Japan's top lighting equipment manufacturer, Iris Oyama not only offers a lineup of superior lighting equipment, but also its proprietary LiCONEX wireless lighting control technology. By integrating this product and technology with HOMMA's smart home platform Cornerstone AI™, the company's strength, the partnership was formed to achieve more stable operability and a higher level of smart home experience. By partnering with HOMMA, which is well versed in the U.S. housing market, we aim to speed up the introduction of Iris Oyama's lighting equipment to the U.S. market from the customer's perspective, not only improving the customer experience, but also streamlining the installation process at home construction sites and facilitating the setting up process. The company plans not only to improve the customer experience, but also to streamline the installation process and facilitate the setup process at home construction sites.
The two companies will use the smart lighting system jointly developed through this partnership in HOMMA HAUS Mount Tabor (HOMMA HAUS), a smart housing project being developed by HOMMA in Portland, Oregon.https://www.hom.ma/mt-taborThe company is in the process of introducing the system to a new building in the city of Tokyo, which will soon be in actual operation. In addition to lighting, the two companies plan to explore collaboration in various other fields such as air conditioning and various sensors.
