Launch of "YUKEMURU Acceleration Program," Oita Prefecture's Entrepreneurial Growth Acceleration Project

In order to promote the development of growth-oriented entrepreneurs, Oita Prefecture and the Oita Industrial Creation Organization (Oita Startup Center) will implement the Yukemuri Acceleration Program (commonly known as YAP (YAP)), a comprehensive, intensive support program to accelerate growth in line with entrepreneurs' needs.

This time, promising businesses in Oita Prefecture were invited to apply, and as a result of a rigorous screening process, five companies were selected to participate in the program's third term.
In addition, as the first new initiative in Japan, a sidekick system was introduced this fiscal year to provide long-term, close support to selected companies by management-level staff from five companies with strong ties to Oita Prefecture, in addition to a mentor system that provides general, spot, practical support.
This is expected to create a unique and close-knit support system unique to Oita Prefecture, and at the same time, maintain a network that will contribute to the formation of an ecosystem after the project is completed.

What is the Side Kick System?

As a "sidekick" (partner) to the management who can feel free to consult on any matters, the program will provide mental and managerial support from the screening of selected companies to the end of the program. Through this support, we expect to build long-term relationships that will continue even after the program ends, and to generate business synergies with Sidekick, which consists of managers with networks within the prefecture.
