Stimulate potential market for college sports through community building using tokens

Until now, university club activities have been funded mainly by club fees from the students who belong to the clubs and money distributed by the university. However, these funds are limited in their use, and there is an absolute shortage of funds to drastically improve the environment surrounding club activities (housing, food, practice, spectator environment, etc.). Therefore, further fundraising is needed to improve these environments.

Chuo University's soccer and basketball teams have produced world-class players such as Japan's national soccer player, Toruwo Furuhashi, and professional basketball player, Kei Igarashi. In March 2022, the team established a corporation with the aim of managing club activities without relying on student funding and strengthening its governance structure.

Meanwhile, FinanciE offers FiNANCiE, a blockchain-based token-issuing crowdfunding platform. Currently, the company is helping more than 200 sports teams and entertainment and community development projects raise funds and create ongoing fan communities through token issuance.

The goal is to establish a new model case for financing the activities of the two teams by combining Financier's knowledge in the three Web fields to create a better practice environment. In addition, we aim to realize an innovation model for the healthy marketization of college sports by increasing the number of people involved through the formation of a community using tokens and stimulating the potential market for college sports.
