The project will create a new test marketing mechanism that integrates online and offline by offering the opportunity for project proponents of "Makuake" to display product samples at the "b8ta" storefront.

Background of Collaboration
Makuake" is a platform that connects businesses that want to create and expand new products and services (hereafter referred to as "executors") with users who want to support and purchase the executors' new products and services (hereafter referred to as "supporters").
To date, we have supported a wide variety of projects from various implementers and have delivered a cumulative total of more than 33,000 atarashiis and experiences to the world.
Makuake creates a zero-level distribution market (*1), and since the products and services that can be implemented as projects on "Makuake" are in the planning stage or before mass production, many of the executors use "Makuake" as a test marketing venue.
In the past, supporter feedback, such as support purchase results and "support comments" collected through "Makuake", have been utilized by the project proponents for general sales after the project has been completed. Since July of this year, Makuake has been enhancing its function as a test marketing site by providing supporters who have purchased products and services with their reviews (*2) in order to further support the business development of the project proponents after the completion of the project.
On the other hand, Beta Japan operates "b8ta," an experience-based store that specializes in experiences that are not primarily for sale. The company offers various manufacturers the opportunity to display their products on the b8ta site, and has gained the support of many manufacturers because it provides both qualitative and quantitative feedback on the reactions of visitors to b8ta as they see and hold the products in their hands.
The ability to encounter new and stimulating items in an environment free of purchase pressure is what attracts consumers to b8ta. As we enter the post-Corona period, we are working to further enhance our product lineup in anticipation of an even greater increase in the number of consumers visiting our stores.
By listing a portion of the more than 600 projects that are launched on "Makuake" on "b8ta" each month, we will be able to strengthen test marketing support for the project proponents and create opportunities for supporters to actually touch the products of the projects they are considering purchasing to encourage more enjoyable support purchases. This will lead to more enjoyable purchases. In addition, we believe that this will provide more opportunities than ever before to encounter atarashii items for sei-katsu-sha visitors to "b8ta," and have decided to begin collaboration.
Outline of Collaboration
In this collaboration, we will offer to display products at "b8ta" stores to those who are currently implementing projects on "Makuake". Those who wish to do so can display their products at "b8ta Tokyo - Yurakucho", "b8ta Tokyo - Shibuya", and "b8ta Koshigaya Laketown", and take advantage of a special plan that provides feedback from consumers obtained at the stores. The special plan to provide feedback from consumers obtained at the stores can be utilized.
The "b8ta" service normally charges a monthly fee for exhibiting, but the plan offered to "Makuake" executors will adopt a model in which a portion of the total amount of support purchases collected through the project will be paid after the fact. By reducing the burden of fixed costs, Makuake aims to provide more participants with the opportunity to try their hand at exhibiting in a realistic setting.
This initiative will also allow supporters to actually hold the product in their hands to check the texture and size, and to purchase the product after being exposed to the story of the project proponents on the project page. The system can be realized by allowing supporters to actually hold the product in their hands to check the texture and size.
This will amplify the enjoyment of the support purchase experience for supporters and further assist the executor in gaining supporters during the project period.

We will continue to collaborate with various partners both online and offline to enhance the functions required in the zero-order distribution market, aiming to "realize a world where what should be born is born, what should be expanded is expanded, and what should remain remains is retained.
*1: The zero-level secondary market refers to the market where goods and services in the phase prior to general distribution (primary distribution) are bought and sold.
