W venturesは、ライフスタイル・エンターテインメント・スポーツといった生活を豊かにする分野を中心に、シード・アーリー期にあるtoC領域のスタートアップを中心とした投資活動を実施している。ファンドサイズは50億。

【パートナー紹介】

・新 和博

2011年よりミクシィにてアライアンスや事業買収等を歴任した後、2013年アイ・マーキュリーキャピタル立ち上げと同時にヴァイス・プレジデント就任、2015年同社代表取締役就任。主な投資実績としてはFIVE（2017年LINEにM&A）、ラクスル（2018年IPO）、ポケットコンシェルジュ（2019年AMEXにM&A）、スタディプラス（社外取締役）などがある。それ以前は、NTTドコモにて法人営業や事業企画、ベンチャー投資を担当した。

・東 明宏

東 明宏 2012年よりグロービス・キャピタル・パートナーズにてベンチャー投資に従事。6社で社外取締役を務めた。主な投資実績としてはエブリー、クリーマ、リノべる、イタンジ、ホープ、ルートレックネットワークス、アソビュー、ランサーズ等がある。2017年Forbesが発表した「日本で最も影響力のあるベンチャー投資家BEST10」で7位にランキングされる。

日本ベンチャーキャピタル協会「Most Valuable Young VC賞」、Japan Venture Award2017「ベンチャーキャピタリスト奨励賞」等受賞。 それ以前は、グリーにてプラットフォーム事業の立ち上げ/ゲーム会社への投資、セプテーニ・ホールディングスにて子会社役員を務めた。
