Overview of the Gotanda Valley Acceleration Program
The Gotanda-Osaki area in Shinagawa Ward is known as "Gotanda Valley" because of its concentration of startup companies. In addition, Gotanda Valley is an area that is attracting a great deal of attention from both inside and outside the ward, as Gotanda Valley General Incorporated Association was established in 2018 with the aim of helping startup companies in Gotanda Valley solve social issues and create a more prosperous future.
Therefore, Shinagawa Ward will implement this program to support the business growth of startups and entrepreneurs in order to increase awareness of "Gotanda Valley" as a cluster of startups, improve local vitality, and revitalize the entire industry in the ward.

Shinagawa Ward is the birthplace of the Keihin Industrial Zone and has long developed as a town with a concentration of manufacturing companies. On the other hand, in recent years, IT companies have made remarkable inroads into the area, especially in the Oosaki and Gotanda areas (Gotanda Valley), and today Shinagawa Ward is a place where manufacturing and IT companies are fused together, a major characteristic not found anywhere else in Japan. In addition, many major domestic and overseas manufacturers are located in the Shinagawa area, which is blessed with excellent access to both domestic and international destinations, making it a city with extremely high potential in terms of business.

In addition, the company is expanding its business domain by operating "01Dojo," an active learning program to train entrepreneurs and internal business development staff, venture investment, and venture study abroad programs for personnel from large companies.
