uni'que launched "Your" on August 29, 2019, an incubation business to create women entrepreneurs in a companionable manner in order to change the current situation where the percentage of women venture entrepreneurs and business owners is so low. uni'que allows women to launch businesses in a flexible manner while working multiple jobs and raising children. Once the business is up and running, they can spin off the company and assume the role of representative director.

The following two new stages of business have been created from Your.

1. Launched "wakarimi" (business manager: Reiyo Takamoto), a communication service for menopausal couples.
2. (Representative Director: Hiroko Muraoka) is established as YourNail Inc.

About the new "wakarimi" service

More than half of women suffer from menopause. Generally speaking, menopause is said to occur between the ages of 45 and 55, but in fact it does not begin abruptly, with many women experiencing physical and mental health problems in their early 40s. We offer a service to help women who feel that they cannot talk to anyone about their problems and that their husbands, who are closest to them, do not understand them. This service is designed to help couples overcome menopausal disorders. 

1) Attend to changes in a woman's physical condition on line, and casually bridge the gap with her partner.

Checks in with the woman on line about her daily physical condition and informs her partner along with distributing information about menopause. It serves as an intermediary to facilitate communication between husband and wife.

2) Individual consultations are also available.

They will be able to individually answer any problems or questions you may have while implementing the delivery program.

3) 8-week program for ¥5,000 at a special price of ¥3,980 at the start of the service

The affordable rate is 5,000 yen for 8 weeks (2,500 yen per couple). In addition, a special price is offered for the initial period.

◎Background of Development
The Nikkei BP Research Institute estimates that the population of menopausal women is 12 million. In a survey by Japan Healthcare Advisors, 30% of couples said that they have more fights during menopause, and one in ten said that they have thought about divorce. In addition, as many as 50% of women answered that they "cannot talk to anyone" about menopause. Based on her own experience as a couple, Reiyo Takamoto launched this business and developed a service to help couples overcome the menopause together, which is a "turning point" in a couple's life. ◎About Reiyo Takamoto, Business Manager
After working for Seven & i and Teijin Limited, she entered the startup world and was involved in two businesses in the healthcare field. 2016, she received an MBA from the U.S. and her two health tech businesses were selected twice by 500Kobe in 2018 and 2019 (the first consecutive selection in 500Kobe's history). She is a mother of two children, ages 3 and 9, and is still involved in startups as a parallel worker.

■ Establishment of a new company, YourNail

Launched on August 29, 2017, YourNail has grown steadily with 150,000 user-submitted designs and 3001 TP3T in orders at an annual growth rate. The company has expanded the possibilities of nail art by partnering with major companies, such as offering character nails in partnership with Bandai Spirits and developing stores with Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store. In order to further accelerate growth, the company will start as a new company.

What is YourNail?

YourNail is a nail service that allows users to easily create nail stickers with their own original designs by simply placing parts or favorite images in the application under the concept of "making nails more free. The main service is a low-priced subscription subscription service that allows users to enjoy four nail stickers for 1,180 yen per month (295 yen per nail sticker), and allows users to fully customize the size of their nails to fit their own nails. Compared to conventional nail stickers, the service greatly reduces the time and effort required to apply nail stickers, and can be used in a wide range of situations, such as for nailing nails while having a child or for foot nailing.
