Outline of the Demonstration Experiment
Monitors will be selected from men and women in their 20s to 60s living in the Matsumoto area, and nutritional tests using the VitaNote will be conducted on the subjects.
The data of health checkups taken in the same year will be acquired and collated to analyze the correlation with the onset of lifestyle-related diseases and other illnesses.
This project will be verified in March 2020 as a "demonstration experiment and practical application verification grant project" managed by the Matsumoto Regional Health Industry Promotion Council. Wisdom and Kougyou will recruit monitors and manage the information, while Yuka Shikado will conduct the nutritional testing and analysis research.
As a mid- to long-term initiative, we intend to acquire and analyze data over a period of about three years, and conduct research in cooperation with external organizations to build a model for early disease prediction in the future.
Background of Initiatives
In order to extend healthy life expectancy, the national government and local governments are implementing a variety of measures for health promotion and disease prevention.
The goal of the Moon Shot-type R&D announced by the Cabinet Office of Japan is "to realize a society that can predict and prevent diseases at a very early stage," and the development of technology and evidence in the field of health promotion is an important issue.
Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture, where the new Yuka Shikado plant is to be built, is a city with the vision of "Matsumoto, a city of healthy life extension. As partners in a comprehensive project that goes beyond the sale of industrial parks to improve nutrition and health, both parties shared and agreed on the significance of this project, which led to the realization of this demonstration experiment.
About VitaNote
