Applications are now being accepted for the FASTAR Acceleration Program for FY2023! Supporting Startups to Accelerate Growth

The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan) began accepting applications on May 1 for the FASTAR Acceleration Program, which supports startups to accelerate their growth, for companies to be supported in FY2023!

Experts help accelerate business growth for approximately one year on an ongoing basis

FASTAR" is a business that supports startups and individuals aiming to become unicorn companies or leading regional ventures to accelerate their growth toward fundraising and business alliances with a view to IPO, M&A, etc.

Support Methods.
An expert from ETIC will act as a full-time partner and provide mentoring for about one year to help the client to solve business strategy and management issues, and will also support the client in brushing up the business plan.
On-demand mentoring by an external mentor will further enhance the resolution of your business strategy with advice from an expert in the field.
The seminars will provide startups with the knowledge they need to grow.
We will support the search for partners for demonstration experiments and test marketing, and PoC validation by utilizing the support menu of the Small and Medium Enterprises Organization (SME).
We create opportunities for funding and business alliances by providing pitch opportunities to VCs and large corporations and individual matching.

Past results
A total of 8 applications have been accepted so far since FY 2019, with 90 companies selected to pursue growth in the fields of medicine, biotechnology, healthcare, mechatronics/robotics, AI, and more.
Participating companies have just achieved a number of fundraising and other results.

Application requirements (For details, please refer to the application guidelines at the URL listed in 4.)
In principle, the applicant must have been in business for 5 years or less, or must have been in business for less than 5 years.
Individuals who are seed to early stage startups or plan to start their own businesses.

Startups or individuals who aim to solve social issues or transform growth industries on a global scale, but are concerned about human resources, knowledge, networks, etc. on the management side.
