MINATO Accelerator 2023 is an accelerator program for seed- and early-stage startups in the creative fields concentrated in Minato Ward. The application period for business plans is from July 3 to September 8, 2023.

What is MINATO Accelerator?
The MINATO Accelerator is an accelerator program(*) for seed- and early-stage startups in the creative (fashion, 3D, AI, etc.) fields clustered in Minato-ku. The program will build a startup ecosystem in Minato Ward by creating horizontal and vertical connections among people of the same generation through pitch events inviting industry experts and hands-on training by professional human resources.
This program offers a support program for approximately two months to the selected applicants. If you have a business plan that will help solve or revitalize any of the themes listed on this website, please take this opportunity to apply. The program's support team will assist you in your efforts.

The program will also create horizontal and vertical ties between the same generation and different generations to build a startup ecosystem in Minato Ward. |

Applicant Requirements | Applicants must meet the following application criteria to apply for and participate in this program. There are no other special requirements. Must have an office in the Port City or be expected to establish an office in the future. Targets prospective entrepreneurs, pre-seed companies, etc. The purpose of the program is to acquire skills in the materialization and brushing up of business ideas, fundraising, and presentation, etc. Seed and early-stage companies and second-stage startups are eligible. *The objective is to acquire new resources, such as funding and collaboration, to expand the business. |
Adopters' Privileges | For those selected for this program, the program support team will assist you in your business creation efforts for approximately two months. The support will include the following, but will be adjusted flexibly to meet your needs. Details of Support for Adopters of this Program Provide a place to learn the basics of business creation Mentoring opportunities by experts in the respective industries Coordination and negotiation with collaborators for the implementation of the demonstration experiment Provide networking and business meeting opportunities for the purpose of expanding sales channels, raising funds, etc. Provide PR opportunities by distributing press releases, etc. Provide opportunities to use community spaces based at the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center. The above is just an example of the support we can provide. We do not promise to provide support to all applicants. Details will be determined through individual discussions with selected applicants. In principle, there is no charge for the above support. However, we ask that you provide your own online environment (PC, peripheral equipment, network environment, etc.) and transportation to and from the venue, which are necessary for communication and learning. |
