Background of Release
Currently in Japan, the inspection and reporting rate of legally required building facility inspections (fire fighting equipment, building equipment, fire prevention equipment, air conditioning equipment, etc.) is extremely low, which is a social issue.
For example, the reporting rate for fire equipment inspections is approximately 501 TP3T, and for periodic inspections of fire protection equipment, the figure is as low as approximately 271 TP3T (*Reference: recent trends related to building administration, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism).

Comment from Kansai Electric Power Co.
The "Facility Management Micata" service (hereafter referred to as "this service") is a business support service that was developed based on customer feedback received in the course of KEPCO's daily sales activities. We believe that this service will contribute to the efficiency of management operations, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that have a lot of work to do with a limited number of staff. In addition, by collaborating with Sumaten Corporation, which provides legal inspection and management services for buildings and facilities, we are working to improve the attractiveness and functionality of this service by leveraging the strengths of both companies. Through this service, we hope to contribute to the reduction of your management costs and to improve the implementation rate of the legal inspections, which have become a social issue.

Comment from a Sumaten representative
We are pleased that with the start of this collaboration, more building managers will be able to offer complex management and apt cost offerings. In addition, the results that can be achieved by having a large company and a startup working in the same direction are extremely valuable.
Although "Facility Management Micata" is broadly in the same area, it is a product with different characteristics, and we believe that we can work together to pick up and solve users' day-to-day building-related problems.
