In the spirit of hospitality to boost the 20th anniversary of the "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" World Heritage registration, JR East employees, led by the conductors of the Omiya Conductor Section, created this tour as an added value for visitors to enjoy walking from JR Nikko Station to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine and surrounding area. It includes recommendations for restaurants, souvenir shops, hotels, and other places of interest.

What is the "Stroly" online map platform?
An online map platform linked to location data (GPS) launched by Stroly in February 2017. The map submission service, which can be submitted and viewed by users around the world, allows users to easily put online hand-drawn illustrated maps, old maps, and other analog maps that differ in scale from reality, as well as search and use maps near their current location.
What is the Rapid "Momiji Iroha Nikko"?
This is a temporary train with all reserved seats that will operate between November 2 (Sat.) and 4 (Mon.), 2019 (national holiday). The train will run from Kawagoe (10:00) to Nikko (12:39) and from Nikko (19:11) to Omiya (21:33), using a Series 205 four-car "Iroha" formation. The "Iroha" formation is a sightseeing-specification train that has been in operation since Sunday, April 1, 2018.
