Mirai Works registers as a cooperating company for the "placement-type" digital specialist staffing system newly established by the Cabinet Secretariat!

Mirai Works announced that it has been registered as a cooperating company for the "Recruitment Type" digital specialist dispatch system newly established by the Cabinet Secretariat's Council for the Realization of the Digital Rural City State Plan!
Based on the content of the DX project that the municipality is working on, we will match the most suitable personnel from among our registered professionals to the project, from assignment to follow-up after the participation.

Background of the establishment of the "Placement Type

In order to support regional development from the human resource aspect, the government has been working on the "Regional Development Human Resources Support Program" since FY2015, under which national public officials, university researchers, and private sector specialists are dispatched to municipalities as assistants (executives, advisors, etc.) to municipalities. (1) To date, a total of 598 personnel have been dispatched to 357 cities, towns, and villages in the three fields of "various specialist personnel," "digital specialist personnel," and "green specialist personnel," contributing to solving regional issues. In addition, in November 2021, the "New Capitalism" policy(in Japanese history)(*2) as one of the key pillars of its growth strategy, and is promoting policies to accelerate and deepen regional development by utilizing the power of digital technology, aiming to create "a society in which anyone can live conveniently and comfortably anywhere in Japan".

In the "company dispatch type" of the "Digital Specialist" dispatch system, private DX companies match and dispatch DX personnel by introducing appropriate in-house DX personnel to municipalities in response to their needs for "DX initiatives" or "assistance in formulating an informatization promotion plan. On the other hand, there are also needs for personnel to promote specialized or specific projects such as "implementation of digital services in fields such as healthcare and transportation" or "initiatives that span multiple fields such as smart city promotion," but it is difficult for municipalities to sort out and match the requirements for personnel alone. However, it is difficult for local governments alone to sort out and match the requirements for human resources.

Under these circumstances, the government has established a new "personnel placement type" in which DX placement firms also organize the necessary human resource requirements and follow-up after matching, based on the details of the project that the municipality intends to undertake. In addition, while previously only municipalities excluding government-designated cities were eligible to use the system, from the next fiscal year, all municipalities, including prefectures and command-designated cities, will be eligible, based on the needs of prefectures and government-designated cities.

Background of registration as a "placement-based" cooperative

More than 850 companies have utilized the service, and the number of DX-related support contracts for business companies exceeded 1,000 in the third quarter of fiscal year 2023 (April to June, 2023).

For government agencies, we provide hands-on support in resolving regional issues in 69 municipalities in 23 prefectures and 1 province by introducing assistant CIOs who promote regional issue resolution using DX, promoting the use of sideline professional human resources in local governments, and promoting the use of sideline professional human resources in local companies.

Mirai Works has a database of professional human resources interested in contributing to local communities, and has honed its ability to identify and support the implementation of professional human resources. We have applied for and become a registered company of the "Recruitment Type" digital specialist dispatch system to support the promotion of DX projects in local governments.

In the future, we will organize and match the requirements of professional human resources needed for the Digital Rural City State Initiative and other municipal DX projects, and follow up on project promotion to help resolve regional issues.
