Five selected companies will be announced for the first time and a "start-up" demonstration day will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Osaka City Central Public Hall to showcase the results of the approximately six months of support received.
Held "Launch" demo day!
In order to create startups in growth fields that will attract global attention in the lead-up to the Osaka-Kansai Expo, the Osaka Bureau of Industry and Promotion is implementing the "Launch" incubation program, which brings together the resources of companies, universities, and local governments in the Kansai region.
Out of 173 applications, the five startups selected this January have received up to 10 million yen in funding for their activities and six months of support from the nation's top VC mentors and others. A demo day to present the results will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
In addition, we have started accepting applications today for spectators to attend the "Startup" Demo Day. This is a great opportunity to experience the efforts of startups challenging the world from the Kansai region, so please come to the venue.
