Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ selects the Grand Prix for the 6th DEMO DAY of the MUFG Digital Accelerator!

Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, held the 6th DEMODAY of the "MUFG Digital Accelerator"!
Cloudbase won the Grand Prix and MEME the Runner-Up.

What is MUFG Digital Accelerator?

The MUFG Digital Accelerator is the first startup accelerator program established by MUFG in 2015.
The program focuses on fintech businesses in the areas of payments, loans, and asset management, as well as businesses that utilize cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, and IoT. MUFG will provide full support for the steps toward commercialization, including the brush-up of business plans, assistance in building prototypes, partner selection based on the direction of the business plan, alliances, and so on.
In fact, new startup businesses and various collaborations with MUFG have emerged from this program.

For this 6th round, víz PRiZMA Corporation, Cloudbase Corporation, Stayway Corporation, MEME Corporation, and Cinnamon Corporation participated through the first round (documents), second round (pitch), and third round (individual interviews) from among the many companies that applied.

The 6th phase will be the first offline DEMODAY in 3 years

The 6th DEMODAY was held offline for the first time in three years due to the implementation of measures to prevent new coronavirus infection. The event was a great success, with networking events that could only be held at a local venue.

At DEMODAY, the results of four months of discussions were presented to the judges, and the following companies received awards in each program category.
