International Innovation Conference Hack Osaka 2023 2nd. Edition", one of the largest innovation festivals in Kansai
Hack Osaka is an international conference that disseminates global innovation trends and the results of innovation originating in Osaka/Kansai, and has been held annually since 2013.
The 11th edition of the event will feature keynote speeches and talk sessions by startups and investors from Japan and abroad, "GET IN THE RING OSAKA," a pitch contest by six Japanese startups with global expansion in mind, "Succeed together in Osaka and beyond," an open innovation session including pitches by 11 startups selected from applicants from 21 countries and regions around the world, and "Succeed together in Osaka and beyond," an open innovation session by startups from Japan and abroad. GET IN THE RING OSAKA Overview
GET IN THE RING is a Dutch startup pitch competition that started in 2012. Regional competitions are held in over 100 countries around the world, and finalists from each country are invited to the world competition.
Its unique pitch style is a one-on-one pitch battle format on a boxing ring. This is an exciting pitch showcase that is conducted entirely verbally (in English) with no slides.
The Osaka Bureau of Industry and Trade has been holding the Japan Competition once a year, and this year will be the 8th time it will be held for real at Hack Osaka.

Succeed together in Osaka and beyond Startups on stage
Talk sessions will be held on the theme of how collaboration between Japanese companies and promising overseas start-ups can create open innovation.
In addition, 11 overseas startup companies in various fields such as green tech, health tech, mobility, robotics, etc. will speak at the event. They will introduce their technologies and talk about their expectations for collaboration in Japan.
