TechBIZKON brings together startups from Austria, Germany, Italy, Belgium/Flanders, and Japan, as well as major companies, VCs, accelerators, and other support organizations to create opportunities for startups to invest, collaborate, network, and expand overseas. This is an event specialized in startups.
The theme of this year's seventh annual event is "Digitalizing the world - Microelectronics for DX. The focus will be on microelectronics and semiconductor technologies that support digital transformation (DX). In conjunction with the event, we are calling for Japanese startup companies with innovative technologies to participate in the pitch contest. We are also looking for companies and organizations to participate in this event.

Theme.."Microelectronics and DX"
Startups with particularly outstanding pitches will receive prizes such as participation in an acceleration program in a European country or a free exhibit at an international exhibition or trade show. Last year, prizes included a two-week acceleration program in Austria, a one-week intensive acceleration program in Flanders, Belgium, and an exhibition package at the Hannover Messe in Germany.
The 2022 event was a great success with 30 startups from Japan and Europe, 10 panelists, and 150 visitors.

What is TechBIZKON?
TechBIZKON is a startup-focused event that brings together European and Japanese startups, VCs, and other stakeholders, and has been held annually since 2017 with the aim of promoting long-term technology and business exchanges between the startup ecosystems of participating countries. Topics have included high-tech, AI, digital health, green technology, and mobility.
This year's theme is Microelectronics and DX and will include a pitching contest by startups selected from participating countries. Panel discussions will be held to introduce the current status and challenges of microelectronics and semiconductor technologies that support DX, as well as the startup ecosystem in each country. In addition, there will be an exhibition corner for startups and opportunities for B2B meetings with participating startups will be created. After the main pitch event, there will be a networking reception with specialties from the participating countries and wine and beer.
